Calendar Window

The
Calendar window shows the items for which the field “expiration date” is not
null.
Elements
of the Calendar window
The
top-left side sub-window (“Expired (E) / Reminded (R)”) shows the items with
expiration or reminder date/time prior to the present time.
The
top-right side sub-window (“Today”) shows the items with expiration or
reminder date/time = today.
The
mid-left side sub-window window (month view box) shows the month and day
currently selected and allows you to select any day of any year.
The
mid-right side sub-shows the items with expiration or reminder date equal to the
day currently selected.
Items in
the three lists above described, can be dragged/dropped
The next
window shows the 40 days following the present day and the number of items
expiring in each day. If you can click on a day box, that day will become the
current day in the month view box.
The
“<” box shows the number of items already expired.
The
“>” box shows the number of items to expire more than 40 days after the
present date.
The
“mark” box shows the content of the “mark” field of the current item.
The
“mark filter” box allows you to set a filter on field “mark” and view
only the items matching that filter.
The
“cat” box shows the content of the “cat” field of the current item.
The
“cat filter” box allows you to set a filter on field “cat” and view only
the items matching that filter.
Opening
of the Calendar Window
The
calendar window can be opened in various ways:

By means of the
relevant icon in the toolbar (
)
- By means of the CTL+F3 key combination
-
By means of the
appropriate command in the main window's context menu
-
Automatically,
at program start-up if at least one item has the expiration date or the reminder
day already expired or expiring in the current day
-
Automatically
upon passing of the expiration date or reminder date
Setting
items as "done"
Pressing
the “set done” button will set to blank the expiration date and set the item
collection to “Journal”, category to “Done”, and will open the Journal
collection to show the item just moved there, giving the user the possibility to
add or change some information.
Changing
the order of items in a list
You can
change the order of items in a list by dragging and dropping them to the desired
position.
Items
without expiration hour
If you
do not need to schedule items for a given hour, leave time to 00:00, this will
cause no time to be showed in any item list.
Deleting
items
You can
delete items in various ways:

Pressing the
DEL key
-
Dragging the
item and dropping it in the main window's background

Using the
appropriate command in the calendar context menu
Assigning
a category to an item
You can
assign a category to an item in two ways:
-
Using the
'category' text box in the edit frame of the calendar window
-
Opening the
'Agenda' collection tag map and dragging and dropping the item into the desired
category tag.
Assigning
an expiration date/time to a non-calendar item
You can
assign a date/time to a non-calendar item. In this way, the non-calendar item
will become a calendar item and will appear in the calendar.
You can
obtain this in two ways:

Dragging and
dropping the item from a tag map to a calendar list or day grid
-
Opening a table
containing the item, select the item and set the desired expiration date.
