You can also set the preferred view (tag map or table) for each collection at collection level or category level. To do that, use the Toolbar And Collections Preferences Window accessible through the  icon in the tool bar or call the appropriate command under 'preferences' in the main context menu.

Auto dialing of telephone numbers

If you have a modem, A-PIM can autodial telephone numbers. You have first to store the number to auto dial in an item's content, preceded by "DIAL=" or "dial=" (example: DIAL=0,1234566 where ',' is a pause). Then, every time you want to launch auto dialing, select the relevant item in a table or tag map or tree map, and then "run" it by double clicking on it or by means of the appropriate command in the context menu. Then follow the instructions displayed on the popup window that will appear. There is no need to select the port where the modem is connected. A-PIM will scan all communication ports looking for a modem and will use the first port where it receives a valid response from a modem.
